Research at PCSGMCH
Despite being a young institution, established in 2021, the faculty of Prafulla Chandra Sen Government Medical College & Hospital has been actively engaged in clinical research and academic publications. Research is encouraged across all departments, with a focus on community health, tropical medicine, and clinical outcomes relevant to the Hooghly district.

Institutional Ethics Committee
All research involving human subjects at PCSGMCH must receive clearance from the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC). The committee reviews research proposals in accordance with ICMR guidelines and the Declaration of Helsinki.
