About the department

The Department of Anaesthesiology provides perioperative, critical care and pain management services across all surgical specialties. The department staffs the hospital's modular operation theatres 24 hours a day and manages the Surgical ICU, supporting a high volume of emergency and elective procedures. It also provides obstetric anaesthesia and labour epidural analgesia services. DNB seats in Anaesthesiology are offered at PCSGMCH.
