How to File an RTI Application
- Write a plain application (in English, Hindi or Bengali) addressed to the Public Information Officer, PCSGMCH
- Clearly state the information you seek and the period to which it relates
- Attach the requisite application fee:

Fee may be paid by Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order in favour of the Accounts Officer, PCSGMCH, or as per the latest West Bengal RTI Fee Rules.
Response Timeline
- Information will be provided within 30 days of receipt of the application
- For matters concerning the life and liberty of a person: within 48 hours
- If information is not provided within 30 days, the applicant may file a First Appeal with the FAA within 30 days of the expiry
- Second Appeal / Complaint may be filed before the West Bengal Information Commission (WBIC)
