About the department
The Department of Pharmacology teaches the principles of drug action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and rational therapeutics to MBBS students. The department coordinates the college's Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), promoting safe medication practices and adverse drug reaction reporting across the hospital. Problem-based learning and prescription audits are integrated into the curriculum.
