It is my proud privilege to be appointed as the Principal of the upcoming Prafulla Chandra Sen Government Medical College in Arambagh, in the District Hooghly West Bengal. New Medical Colleges are being built in the country to cater to the medical needs of our vast population and also as a platform for making competent doctors for the society. The college is soon going to initiate the MBBS curriculum under the National Medical Commission guidelines, taking support of the already existing health care facility and adding a lot more to build up the new infrastructure. It is always a challenge to implement such mammoth projects from the very beginning and I hope that with constant support from our higher authority and cooperation of my team members and local administration and public representatives, the dream of millions of our people willbe fulfilled. I am grateful once again to the Government of West Bengal for entrusting me with such great responsibility of heading a new Medical College and giving me and my team wonderful opportunities to be associated with such a noble task.
