Eligibility Criteria
- Must have passed Class XII (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (45% for SC/ST/OBC as per NMC norms)
- Must have qualified NEET-UG in the year of admission
- Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission
- Indian nationals and NRIs (as per NMC regulations and state government quota rules)

Compulsory Rotating Internship (12 months)
Mandatory clinical rotations across all major departments including Community Medicine postings at Urban Health Centre and rural field units. Successful completion is required for full MBBS degree award and state medical council registration.
Assessment
University examinations include theory papers and practical/viva components. Internal assessment (IA) marks, attendance and formative assessments contribute to eligibility and final scores as per WBUHS and NMC CBME guidelines. Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in theory and practicals to appear in university examinations.
