About CME at PCSGMCH
Prafulla Chandra Sen Government Medical College & Hospital regularly organises Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes, workshops, seminars and skill-development training for faculty, residents and postgraduate students. These activities are coordinated through the Medical Education Unit (MEU) and the individual clinical departments.
BCME Training
PCSGMCH has conducted Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) training programmes for faculty members in accordance with NMC guidelines. The BCME equips faculty with competency-based medical education (CBME) teaching and assessment skills.

CME Credits
Faculty members are encouraged to earn CME credits as required by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for periodic renewal of registration. The MEU coordinates documentation of CME credits for faculty.
